PETER JOHN FRAZZA

Peter John Frazza is a shareholder of the firm and a chairperson of the computer law group of Budd Larner, P.C., one of the largest law firms in New Jersey, with offices in New York, Cherry Hill and Philadelphia. Peter has spent more than 20 years representing companies around the country in connection with the negotiation and preparation of software license, hardware, software development and maintenance agreements; and representing companies in lawsuits involving software, copyright, intellectual property and license agreement issues.

Peter is recognized as one of the top software licensing attorneys in the country by representing corporations in lawsuits against major software vendors such as Computer Associates. His particular focus is the representation of national and multinational companies in lawsuits that involve complex software, copyright, intellectual property and license agreement issues. He has also assisted numerous companies in the amicable resolution of their differences with software vendors prior to litigation.

He has drafted contracts and negotiated deals for hardware, software, maintenance and consulting agreements with vendors such as IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Oracle, Microsoft, and Computer Associates. He is also a frequent guest speaker at industry seminars and conferences on issues related to software licensing and negotiations.

He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Lycoming College in 1977 and his Juris Doctorate from the Seton Hall School of Law in 1981. He is admitted to argue before the Supreme Court of the United States, the Courts of Appeals for the Third, Fourth, Seventh and Eighth Circuits, and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.

He has been an adjunct professor at the Seton Hall School of Law and is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Computer Law Association and Caucus.
